Hello Christine

Delighted to see your website up and running - it looks great!

I have more reason than most to say a heartfelt "thank you" for all the hard work and dedication that you have put into writing and publishing "Childwickbury." It is extremely well researched and makes fascinating reading.

As the author of "Searching For Grace" reading your book has felt like shining a light into the past, and illuminating aspects of the early life of my grandmother and great-grandfather that would otherwise have remained a mystery.

My best wishes for your promotional work and I am sure that many people will find your book proves to be a popular addition to books about English Manor Houses and the colourful personalities who have built and lived in them.

Kind regards
Carol Henderson

Reading Christine's book has been an inspiration to me and my family and has spurred us on to discover more of our family history. The book is extremely well written and informative and has given us an excellent insight into how our ancestors lived in Childwickbury.

We cannot thank Christine enough for all the help, support and information she has provided and await her next book with eager anticipation.

Once again, thank you for everything,
Rosie

Having been brought up at Childwickbury until I was nine, this book was a real meander down Memory Lane for me. It brought back so very many memories, most of them happy, and reminded me of some I had forgotten. It's such a shame that those lovely memories are of an "upstairs and downstairs" community that is now gone for ever after the estate was split up.

Thank you so much, Christine.

Your book is great, so much detail and information....and I have certainly learnt a lot more about where my Great-Grandfather and Grandfather lived and worked and the owners of Childwickbury it seems were good people to work for.

Once again thank you so much for your help and information. Good luck with your research.
